Ramblings and NOTW (last week)

My schedule just keeps getting more crowded by the day.Tomorrow is definitely going to be probably the longest day of my life -_-
I know I haven't blogged in a bit but I've had no time to take pictures, I even had to resort back to taking pictures on my phone cause I am just too tired. This is my nail design from last week, very simple:

I used China Glaze Recycle for the base color, which I love, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and I can't recall the company but the pink color is called Burberry.

So I was browsing around different nail blogs and looking through my collection at the same time and realized I have quite a collection of Sinful Colors. I remembered that they were building a website so I hopped on my computer to check it out. Why are their prices higher on the website? I cherish the 1.99 experience that makes Sinful Colors a go-to polish for me (please believe EVERYTIME I leave a Walgreens, I leave with at LEAST one polish from them). Price on the website: 2.50. Now granted it only a 50 cent difference but then add that while shipping and handling (which there is a $10 min) thats a little over $3 a bottle. I won't be ordering off of there, as long as I can get it for 1.99 at my local Walgreens, I'm aight. Anddd I just found out my school's bookstore sells them (whatt?!?!?) I almost dies when I saw that x_x
Just sharing some info with yall!!
Till next time!! :)

NOTW update

I did this manicure on Sunday... So I took a pic of my nails for the last post around midnight wednesday and this is what they looked like by 1:15pm that same day:
CHIP!!!

CHIP!!

BREAK!!
So my nail split of I had to end up cutting it in a weird manner to keep it from hurting... UGHHHHH this nail splits ALL THE TIME. Does anyone know how to keep that from happening? It's the only reason why I don't grow my nails out any longer than what it is now.

This is how they looked over the summer:
Thats the longest I grew them out ever.... not one split either. I cut them thought cause I was working with kids (kids+longs nails= tragedy)

Usually my manicures last a week, no problem.. I think its cause I used a top coat as a base coat this time because I ran out of base coat. (off to the drug store I go to get a base coat). Do yall know any good base coats? One that prevents splitting and peeling preferably...

Til next time!!

NOTW

Hola mis lectores!! Espero que sea hace bien...
Anywho, Im back with the NOTW which prolly won't last a whole week, its starting to look rough... then again maybe it will cause I gotta wash my hair and I don't want to ruin a new manicure. Please excuse the major tipwear, apparently Seche Vite shrinkage is serious if you put it on when the nail polish is already dry... my roommate used it while it was wet and hers looks fine so I'll try that next time.

The left hand with Color Club Revvvolution as the main color

The right hand with Color Club Wild at Hear as the main color. I'm not left handed so taking a picture of my right hand was difficult as you can see -_-

I wanted a simple manicure but I couldn't choose which color to wear so I decided to wear both lol... I really need to start taking pictures during the day but I'm using my roommates camera without her permission so there's only so much I can do. (I refuse to tell her I have a nail polish blog tho she knows I have an addiction to polish but I would hear it FOREVER)
Until next time!!

Oh Goodness Gracious...

Isn't it PRETTY!! i'm still mesmerized by it o_O

Soooo today I brought my first OPI nail polish at the grand total of 7 dollars and 37 cents. *gasp* There was a time when I wouldn't even look at a bottle nail polish if it wasn't a dollar or less... Now I'm looking at my ever growing collection and wondering when will the madness stop (prolly never! I just spent almost $50 on an order that should be coming in this week)) So I brought Bring on the Bling from the new Burlesque collection, I immediately feel in love with in when I saw it on Scrangie's blog and was lemming after it for the last week or so. I was originally going to buy it off transdesign for it was only 4 or 5 dollars (cnt remember at the moment) but i just couldn't trust the site for some reason regardless of all the reviews I watched. Anywho, I went to the mall today and saw it there, in all its glittery glory and had to have it. I didn't even blink when the lady said, "$7.37 please". *Sigh* I still prefer cremes over ANYTHING but I just knew Bring on the Bling was one for the books, and as I type this the commercial for Burlesque comes on (this the first time I've since it on tv) Well let me not make this post tooo long & boring.

On to the NOTW (Nail of the week) ...well pass two weeks:
I caught a pic of this towards the end of my manicure that's why it looks so rough but I wanted to do some fall color blocking. I quite like this look. What I used: NYC: New York Color Minute in Manhatten, a drug store brand polish in Sliver Bling, Sinful Colors in Rich in Heart, and a black striper.

So this weekend was homecoming so I decided to show some school pride (along with my friends who also painted their nails blue and gold). I wanted to try the Ruffian Manicure and I think it came out great! I originally used Sinful Colors Let's Meet but when I placed China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway over it, it looked as though I just forgot to paint my whole nail, so I use a gold glitter striper to go over the yellow and it came out perfect. (BTW, we won homecoming making us division champs!! So proud ^_^ )

Once again srry for the bad pic quality, im working on getting a new camera soon so better pics will follow!
Thanks!!

Edit post - So im using my roommate's snassy camera until i buy one... but she doesn't know im using it lol

New to this...

Sooooo... Im new to this but not new to blogger. Ive been a long time reader of different bloggers and thangs
Soo where to start..? I believe the beginning is a perfect place to start!
Here's just a few nail designs I've done in the past:

Main color: Blue me Away by Sally Hanson Xtreme Nails

Snow leopard design, one of my faves!

This is probably my fave design I've done!! I usually dnt repeat designs but this was an exception.

Was messing around and came up with this design. Main color: Let's Meet by Sinful Colors

Oh the horror that was water marbling!!! It legit took me almost and hour to do this but I really did like the turnout. It lasted about a week and a half. Several Wet and Wild colors were used, I cnt remember the names at this minute.

So yes, this is a good start. Sorry about the crappy photo quality, these were taken with my phone since my old roommate spilled mouthwash on my camera  (I still dnt know how she accomplished that :/ ) Anywho, I did a haul about a month ago and I have another one coming in soon (oh the excitement!!!) Pictures will come soon!
