Water Marbling - 2nd try

This was my second attempted at water marbling and I love how it came out :)

I used Sinful Colors in Snow Me White, BSN in Blackness, and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Hot Magenta. I also used Forget Now by Sinful Colors as a base. LOVE!!

Zoya Haul

I'm back wit a haul. I haven't done one in a while since money has been kinda tight but with a Zoya promo i was finally able to get my hands on some bottles. I've been looking at Zoya for a few MONTHS now and desperately lemming Crystal from the Flame collection. Zoya had a promo on facebook if they reached 20,000 followers they wud give a code to get 3 free* polishes (*had to pay for shipping). It finally gave me a reason to buy Zoya!! I was tooo excited when I got my pretty little package...

Sooooooo I had NO idea that the Zoya bottles were so small. All the pics I've seen of the bottles have been of close-up which makes the bottle look bigger than what it is. Even though it says its only 0.5 fl oz lol So I took a pic of the bottle in comparison to other brand bottles. I did this so those who never heard of Zoya or don't own Zoya knows what it looks like...

This was my third attempt at water marbling and I LOVE IT... I never thought I would especially after my first attempt but yes this was my man for my bday party <3 The colors used were Sinful colors HD Nails and Snow Me White, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Blue Me Away!, NK in Midnight Blue and Teal. I used one thick coat of NK teal for the base. OOOH PRETTY lol

Happy Birthday to me!!!

Oh dear blog I have missed you soooo! I took a break from blogs during finals which I did very well yayy!! I also decided to break during vacation so I can actually have a chance to enjoy it. This past semester was tooooooooooo much. Anywho, I was only able to capture one mani I did, I even wore a mani over a week *GASP* I noe!! Sigh.

This was Cosmic by China Glaze with Bring on the Bling on the accent nail. I tend to use glitters in accent nails because they are a pain in the butt to get off smh.

So as you can tell from my title... IT'S MY BIRTHDAY, the big 2-1 lol! I did a small Zoya haul thanks to their Facebook promo to reach 20,000 followers by the New Year (they should have known that was gonna happen lol) My first Zoyas, I'm super excited for my package... Their promo is only good for 3 free name polishes but you still have to pay shipping which is fine wit me. I ended up ordering 5 (Crystal, Roxy, Tiffany, Gloria, and Ki) AHHHH THE EXCITEMENT!! I wish I had more pictures... well until next time :)

Ramblings and NOTW (last week)

My schedule just keeps getting more crowded by the day.Tomorrow is definitely going to be probably the longest day of my life -_-
I know I haven't blogged in a bit but I've had no time to take pictures, I even had to resort back to taking pictures on my phone cause I am just too tired. This is my nail design from last week, very simple:

I used China Glaze Recycle for the base color, which I love, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and I can't recall the company but the pink color is called Burberry.

So I was browsing around different nail blogs and looking through my collection at the same time and realized I have quite a collection of Sinful Colors. I remembered that they were building a website so I hopped on my computer to check it out. Why are their prices higher on the website? I cherish the 1.99 experience that makes Sinful Colors a go-to polish for me (please believe EVERYTIME I leave a Walgreens, I leave with at LEAST one polish from them). Price on the website: 2.50. Now granted it only a 50 cent difference but then add that while shipping and handling (which there is a $10 min) thats a little over $3 a bottle. I won't be ordering off of there, as long as I can get it for 1.99 at my local Walgreens, I'm aight. Anddd I just found out my school's bookstore sells them (whatt?!?!?) I almost dies when I saw that x_x

NOTW update

I did this manicure on Sunday... So I took a pic of my nails for the last post around midnight wednesday and this is what they looked like by 1:15pm that same day:

So my nail split of I had to end up cutting it in a weird manner to keep it from hurting... UGHHHHH this nail splits ALL THE TIME. Does anyone know how to keep that from happening? It's the only reason why I don't grow my nails out any longer than what it is now.

This is how they looked over the summer:

Thats the longest I grew them out ever.... not one split either. I cut them thought cause I was working with kids (kids+longs nails= tragedy)

Usually my manicures last a week, no problem.. I think its cause I used a top coat as a base coat this time because I ran out of base coat. (off to the drug store I go to get a base coat). Do yall know any good base coats? One that prevents splitting and peeling preferably...
